ECOS is the latest version of the successful cost benefit analysis program developed by OSRAM LIGHT CONSULTING so you can compare the costs of different lighting systems.
 
The program offers the simple and self-explanatory user interface and the ability to select lamps and control gear quickly and easily from a database running in the background. The results are clearly laid out for comparison.
 
ECOS lets you calculate the costs of any lighting system, new or upgraded. All you have to do is enter a few key figures and the program will do the rest.
 
The only information you will need are the types of lamp and control gear, the energy costs and burning times - ECOS will then use these values to calculate annual maintenance costs, energy costs and purchase costs. It will show you clearly the precise moment when your lighting system with its electronic control gear will have paid for itself.
 
For daylight-dependent lighting control, ECOS contains data for typical rooms to help you estimate how much energy can be saved by making use of available sunlight. It automatically uses these default values in its analyses.
