OSRAM Singapore participated in the 10% Energy Challenge organized by NEA.
The event was held at Suntec City Tropics Atrium from 25th – 27th April 2008.
10% Energy Challenge
Dubbed as the 10% Energy Challenge, the first-of-its kind national campaign underscores NEA's key focus on raising awareness amongst Singapore residents on energy conservation and stimulating the adoption of an energy efficient lifestyle as part of their daily lives. The campaign empowers everyone to contribute towards Singapore's efforts in mitigating climate change.
An information corner was set up to educate the residents on how they can save Energy by switching over to Energy-Saving Lighting Products. Special promotional price on OSRAM Energy-Saving Products was introduced during the exhibition to encourage residents to use them.
OSRAM also gave out 100 pieces of Energy-Saving lamps to the first 100 visitors who visited this exhibition.
Mr Yaacob Ibrahim, Minister for Environment & Water Resources was the Guest-of-Honour for the launch of the 10% Energy Challenge.
OSRAM set up a information corner with demo-kits to educate the public on Energy-Saving Lighting Products.
